Mac
I'm pretty new to camping, but I've got an adventerous spirit (!!) and I'd like to take the family (wife, three kids and the dog) on a tour up the west coast of scotland then back down through Glencoe. Anyone got any tips on campsites we should try. We are okay with reasonably basic facilities...though not too basic...more into nice atmospheres and great views..cheers
Mother Goose
I'm just back from a few days in Ullapool. We stayed at Broomfields campsite, right in the centre of the town and on the shore of the loch. Highly recommended with good facilities and close to shops, etc. There's plenty of mountains about for some wild camping if you're interested. One to look for in Glencoe is Kingshouse, although it gets quite busy with West Highland Way walkers. Any questions, let me know.
Guest starspirit
DO NOT go there without a good midge repellent - enjoy!
