weldted
Ideally disconnect the solar panels before they enter the regulator, just the positive will do. Unplug the hook up so battery charger is off. Always disconnect the negative terminals of the batteries first.
Alanb
1. Cover solar panel, or remove fuse between panel and regulator. 2. Switch off CB 516 charger by pressing combined red indicator light/switch. 3. Switch off PC180. (Precaution to avoid the risk of any spikes causing damage.) 4 . Using a short spanner that cannot bridge battery terminals, disconnect the habitation battery negative terminals. (If a short spanner is not available, wrap and tape a thickish plastic bag round the unused end and shaft.) 5. Again with a short spanner, disconnect the habitation battery positive terminals. 6. Disconnect any vent pipes. 7. Replace batteries, and reverse procedure to reconnect. Alan
