donna miller Posted April 17, 2007 Share Posted April 17, 2007 It has just been announced that the swiss authorities have banned the use of speed camera detectors,this included those as part of sofware packages in sat nav systems. Thus making the use of sat navs with camera locators illegal as well. The article also went on to say that there are speed traps in nearly every village in Switzerland and many of them are well hidden, speeding drivers receive a fine but no penalty points. Anyone caught using camera detectors or sat navs with camera location databases will have them confiscated and destroyed, they will then be fined for using them.
