Beetle
I'm the proud owner of a VW LT35 5 cyl. diesel conversion, unfortunately it is the none Turbo version and it doesn't like going up hills, Is there any "Technofobies" out there who can help me, ie. can I fit a Turbo to a standard engine? or are there other ways? Please help, I get old men on 'bikes passing me on hills. :$

Clive
TB Turbo in Lancaster (I think) are most likely to be able to enhance its performance some what I guess.

Bob Deane
I would get it checked by diesel specialist before going to the expense of having a turbo fitted. My non turbo Transit was sluggish on hills, it turned out to be a faulty fuel pump. Ok, still not exactly a ball of fire but a vast improvement. barrie w
had the same problem with our 2.5 boxer. after 4 years of swearing to sort it out we ended up at TB Turbo. a big bill(£2000)but worth it. you pays your money etc !! but it has to be a toss up if the cost can't be retrieved on resale of the van. Beetle
Thanks Guy's. Think I'll get it tuned, then start saving for a Turbo. Its been fun reading your comments, (not just on my problem) so I might be a regular if you will allow it. 8-)
