andekm Posted September 29, 2022 Posted September 29, 2022 Hi Guys, I have recently purchased a 1997 LMC Liberty, Fiat Ducato 2.5 tdi. The vehicle has a cracked windscreen. I hired a company to replace the screen but they couldn't complete the replacement because the camper conversion covers some of the rubbers at the top of the windscreen. See picture below: How do I solve this problem? Advice and help appreciated.
witzend Posted September 29, 2022 Posted September 29, 2022 Looking at picture there appears to be 4 screws in the top panel have you tried removing them to remove the top panel ?
John52 Posted September 30, 2022 Posted September 30, 2022 I can see why the windscreen company doesn't want to do it. The panel is probably old and brittle and will break when you take it out. Which they don't want to be responsible for. But its got to come out, so you will just have to take it out anyway, one way or another, and hope for the best.

onecal Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 Easily drilled out , exposing the rubber and can be replaced by plastic fasteners or pop rivets on completion of fitting new windscreen and rubber Regards
