Deffheads Posted October 8, 2022 Posted October 8, 2022 We have a mission to clean the motorhome interior, what is the best for removing stains on cream plastic surrounds on the cab area? We have tried sugar soap and cream cleaners, but stubborn brown spots still there [Spider poo?]
Keithl Posted October 8, 2022 Posted October 8, 2022 Try Burnishing Cream. It is a very mild abrasive. I prefer Rustin's brand and usually get it on eBay.
Bulletguy Posted October 8, 2022 Posted October 8, 2022 Try this; https://www.wickes.co.uk/HG-Mould-Remover-Foam-Spray---500ml/p/249612?utm_source=Website&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=confirmation#
John52 Posted October 9, 2022 Posted October 9, 2022 Thinking about it - I sealed a leaking windscreen with bathroom silicone That discoloured like you describe. I got it back to new look by painting it with thick bleach. I could use bleach as its on the outside and didn't damage anything. But splashing a bit of thin bleach on my black cotton trousers turned them bright orange in seconds. Could you be sure enough to keep it away from the upholstery to use it on inside plastic? Might have to clean any wax off the surface first so the bleach can soak into the plastic
laimeduck Posted October 9, 2022 Posted October 9, 2022 I find that paint brush cleaner removes most spots and stains. Small dab on a cloth and rub. Also good for removing glue deposits left after removing paper labels. Then simply wash with water. Jeremy
