rogerrichards
In this warm weather the drop down bed over the cab gets quite stuffy at night and am thinking of installing an additional roof vent to help. The MH is a 1993 A Class Hymer 544. Is this quite easy as a DIY job? If so what are the pitfalls or things to look out for (before cutting a sizable hole in the roof!) Also what sort/make of vent would you recommend. If this is not a reasonably easy DIY project, any recommendations for fitters - preferably in the North Wales/West area. Any advice will be appreciated. will redfearn
I have seen Hymers with additional vent over the cab bed. Spares are available from Hymer UK (Brownhills)or Hambilton engineering http://www.friendlyhippo.co.uk/hymerdirect/ both in Preston. Hambilton will fit it for you. Any decent caravan workshop should be able to do it. If you want a vent I have a spare one.
