Hans
Is that possible to put on road again. And what is the framework to put it on the road again.
Globebuster1
In the UK that may well be possible - based on VIN number identification and and an existing registration number, MOT records. Title of ownership is another hurdle. I have succeeded in doing this myself, albeit on an older classic car
Keithl
Hans, If the MH is a UK registered vehicle then yes it is possible. Either the current owner or a new owner if already sold applies to the DVLA for a new V5 logbook and that is all that is required. The MOT and road fund licence (road tax) are now electronic so there is no paperwork to lose. Keith.
Hans
Keithl do you mean that the DVla has all birth certificates? Ready for the MOT? so a stolen motorhome can be on the road again?
Globebuster1
If previous documents were not in the name or current registered address of those applying for new papers, then proof of ownership would still be required - that's been my experience anyway. Due diligence is important if you are considering a purchase in these circumstances.

stevec176
In the UK you can do a credit check that should tell you if it's still got outstanding credit and I'm sure there are checks available to let you know if it's stolen. The NICB has a VIN database of stolen vehicles that they maintain with the help of law enforcement and insurance companies.
