Dave Newell
Thanks Brian, I got to page five before getting bored as all they seem to want to do is run Tom Tom on it. It doesn't apparently have a customisable POI system or speed camera database but for under a ton its a cracking little UK navigator. D.
Brian Kirby
Wasn't knocking, Dave. The point seemed to be that there was doubt about availability of European maps for the Aytobe. Aytobe seemed to be saying go to Teleatlas for the maps, but were not recognised by Teleatlas. However, if TomTom was loaded, you could load the TomTom European maps from the Teleatlas source. For the brave and technically savvy, that seemed a way to get a cheap navigator with European mapping.
trigrem
Can confirm Dex is fine, kept me busy throwing his ball, or rather part of ball, when I was at Dave's recently having cruise control fitted. I happened to pick a day Dave had him at work.
Brambles
Brian, thanks for posting the link to Forum, earlier I had mentioned in a post a link to a site for geeks, but forgot to include the link.
bob b
I e mailed Tele Atlas regarding European mapping and received a reply this morning stating that they only supply the maps to aytobe and not the software, so they couldn't help.
