kevandali
Hi All Years ago I camped at Port Eynon on the Gower and I remember a campsite that consisted of about 3 large fields for caravans and tents and was literally two minutes walk to a pub at Port Eynon. The fields were huge and the beach was virtually right next to it or possibly down a small path?. Sorry this is so vague but it was about 20 years ago, probably a housing estate now. *-) Does anyone know of the site or have been? The site below accepts camper vans but not sure if it is the right one that I remember? Carreglwyd Camping & Caravan Park Thanks for any help, travelling this Thursday. chas
Hi Kev- I think you will find it is the right one, we have used it and the best piches IMO were in the overflow field which overlooked the small bay, and the old salthouse building, because the small resort is just that, booking may well be wise. A lovely spot, enjoy. chas

kevandali
Thanks for all the advice, booked in at Bank Farm, not as close to the beach as the other site but has a swimming pool to keep the kids happy (Weather permitting!)
