Knaus
Can anyone tell me if there are any tolls to pay on the A84 south from Caen? I can't find a site with detailed information on tolls. Hope someone has the info. Thanks

Guest Syd
Just plan your route on the Michelin site and it will give you tolls and petrol costs plus distance and time Sorry if you already know this
Derek Uzzell
As has already been stated, the A84 is toll-free. The simplest way to identify the autoroutes (or sections of autoroute) that are toll-free is via AA road atlases of France (or the French-published IGN equivalent.) as toll autoroutes are shown in purple and toll-free ones in light blue. It is possible to do the same with Michelin atlases, but it's a lot harder. The definitive website is www.autoroutes.fr
