The real problem appears to be, how many units they can feed through the system per. weeek/month. Orders processed when unit at dealers, no consideration of when ordered and generally no slots for the one that was ordered 3months ago. I beleive that if the dealer is not an approved agent for the engine manufacturer(and most are not), then it is sent to an agent for that side to be checked. 5days is perhaps a little optomistic but 3weeks is streching it. Perhaps another! white lie regarding it's arrival and a faster PDI may have sounded better.
