michele
It's silly me Don.. ;-) Been To the Gace one..Came in on the N138 and just north of Gace they have modernised the roads they have left them as pull in's . And in our experience we had a 3 up covoy when we woke up and had a wonderful lovely sunshine evening with a tree line screen.. Not our friends total strangers but very peacful uneventlful night ;-)
Roy
Hi Don,Gace is fine for a free overnight stop right in the centre of the typical tiny French town of no particular interest. Mature trees on two sides, Municipal Buildings on one side. Old fashioned toilets nearby. If you are looking for security and hook ups the aire at Broglie (Bit further north in Dept.27) is really nice with spacious hard standing places for six vans. Resident 'gardien', toilets, hot water for 5 euros. Roy.

Thanks Don Roullet Saint Estephe is not far from us and we pass there quite frequently going to Angouleme. They have recently re-routed the N10 so that it by-passes the village, so it is a lot quieter now. There is also a small motorhome dealer there as well and also a Chocolatier (or there used to be).
