Mini Halogen Oven

Just seen in the Easylife catologue (came with the Saga mag this week) a 1000Watt mini hologen oven (code No 2491) for £39.99 plus P&P. Has anyone used one of these or similar units as it appears to be ideal for use when on site with hook-up. Searched the net for further info but only found sales details. As this unit appears to be new to the market (no image on web site yet) does anyone know how well this or similar units cook, how much do they weigh, are they robust?

Info at

http://www.easylifegroup.com/products/2491.asp

but no image yet but catalogue show it similar to the following

Easylife 1300 Watt version (code No 1687)

I've got a 1300 watt one and it's very good. Got it at Lidl for £20. They have them on offer occasionally. Its made by Biffinet. Do a Google and see what turns up. They are great for when your on hookup and want to save gas or cook outside.

We also have one of these that I bought for the van, the only problem is that they are heavy. They are very easy to use and can cook almost anything and are very easy to clean, put and inch of water in and a little washingup liquid , set on defrost for 5 minutes and voila, its done.
