Apparently the PAF went poof when trying to take photos on a tablet after trials in Calais didn't work well. So EU decided to delay the implementation at a meeting in Tallinn, Estonia on Jan 12th. The announcement also stated " In particular border crossing points should be fully equipped for the use of the Entry/Exit System" (ie .... they are not ready now!)
