There was a long discussion about this the other week http://forums.outandaboutlive.co.uk/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=7522&start=1Postcode entries for campsites are not very reliable because in rural areas they cover large areas and addresses are not very good as you don't normally get a house number just a road. All CC and C&CC campsites are included in the built-in POIs on the Tomtom, are they not on the Garmin? You can add CLs and CSs from home-made databases.

Hi Derek,CC and C&CC sites are not included on the Garmin, you have to purchase the GSD software, but this only covers CC sites and CLs.

I've downloaded the CLs POI as they're not included. I've checked a few C&CC club sites and yet to find one listed. Neither are CSs.

tonyishuk
If you have slight (ie you do not have to be a computer geek) computer knowledge Try: http://www.jollyinteresting.co.uk/pushpins/index.html which have Autoroute POIs (most POIs seem to come in this form (or TomTom) then try http://rjdavies.users.btopenworld.com/html/poiconverter.html to convert the files that can be loaded onto a TomTom. or Garmin using Garmin POI loader (from the Garmin site) Links on how to do this are on this thread (or very recent threads) Rgds
