Guest JudgeMental Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 seems that you can now buy Motorhomes from superstores... BLUCAMP MOTORHOMES SKY 50 on new ford chassis @ £25.999 have never heard of the make most probably re badged Italian?
Mel E Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Bluecamp are indeed Italian and have been around for a few years now. You can also buy them on line via DCCook, the motor dealers in the north-west. I believe they are an imprint of Rimor, but I'm sure someone will correct me if I've remembered wrongly. Mel E ====
Brian Kirby Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 I believe Blucamp were originally made by Rimor exclusively for the hire trade, and Rimor then decided to market them as an "entry level" van. They were regarded as quite good value, as they were fairly tough (in terms of internal fittings) - for obvious reasons. Whether the toughness has survived the marketing department I have no idea!
madmick Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Spot on Brian. You have been doing your homework! All agreed. Madmick
Basil Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 They had some at the Peterborough Show, they seemed quite good VFM even at the prices quoted there in terms of build quality, though I had doubts about the layouts for the purpose they were intended. (But then I have my own ideas about layouts that are not always the norm!!) Bas
