Do you know how to get Bus type mirrors to bits?

One of the mirrors on my Hymer wobbles in the wind.

 

It seems that the screws that fix the plate attached to the bodywork are either loose or have pulled the thread.

 

I want to explore and I've removed the nechelle that protects the adjustment knuckle (where the mirror meets the static bit).

 

I can't see any further bits to undo.

 

Any clues? Is this as job done from inside the vehicle perhaps?
