The warranty work at the dealership may not be carried out until Sept/Oct due to a delay on parts and they being very busy. My question is, would it aid or hinder the overall process by using a dehumidifier periodically between trips and before the dealer attends to it? My own view is that it would be best if whoever is going to address this issue sees the damp in its worst state at the time the repair is to be done. If you use a humidifier and there is a hot summer, the damp MIGHT dry out significantly and, when the repair is carried out, a complete cure might then not result.
