kevandali Posted June 26, 2007 Share Posted June 26, 2007 Hi All We will be travelling from a campsite called Le Letty which is just south of Quimper near Benodet during the first week of August (can't avoid peak season :-( ) We are hoping to call at various Aires and wild camp for three or four days around the coast, west of Quimper before heading back towards Calais.. I noticed there was an Aire at Plouhinec near Audierne and was wandering if anyone has any information on this Aire or others in the area. I found it on the camping car website but no pictures or info that I understood. I have been told that there is a lovely beach for the kids at Audierne so any information at all on places to overnight in the area would be great. Our idea is to try and call into small villages on market days to sample the local food/wine but have yet to work out how to find out which places in the area have markets on certain days, think it will be just pot luck. Last year we ended up going to small supermarkets here and there but it seemed a bit pricey?
