JBSC70 Posted May 2, 2023 Share Posted May 2, 2023 Another test you can perform on your battery is if you have a battery conditioning device or trickle charger, ie Optimate or CTEK. If you do, connect your battery to one of these and see how long it takes for the charging light to go out and green conditioning light to come on. An old battery of mine never stopped charging and it confirmed it was shot. The new battery should at the most take less than 24 hour to stop charging and start conditioning. FYI these devices are common on the motorcycle fraternity where bikes are laid up. One of the best pieces of kit i posses.
