johnsandywhite
Positive to Positive and Negative to Negative. With a Fuse in the Postive feed cable. http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m1/johnsandywhite/wiring1.gif
Dave Newell
Oh go on then, I'll tell you. connect the positive of your original leisure battery to the positive of your extra battery and the same for the negative terminals. If the positive cable runs through any metal bulkheads or has any danger of rubbing through the insulation and shorting then you need to fit a fuse near both batteries. Use the heaviest gauge cable you can get and good quality fuses and holders. Fasten the battery so it cannot move around. D.
afandy
...Wouldnt you need special fittings as battery terminal leads area tight fit on there own and where would you get them...
