I’m currently trying to get a low emission certificate for France, alas, the official website will not accept my VIN , has anyone experienced this problem and if so, how did you get round it ?

my current Motorhome is a Bailey Adamo 69-4 with a Ford engine.

This link includes tips on completing the Crit'Air application

https://travelinformation.eu/france-environmental-zones/

When completing the application 'form', if the VIN number (chassis number) is entered in the correct field, it ought to be accepted.

The VIN number has a specific format

https://www.autocheck.com/vehiclehistory/vin-basics#

If the number you have entered does not meet that format (perhaps it's wrong on your Bailey's V5C registration certificate?) or you've typed it incorrectly, it's quite likely that the Crit'Air application software will take offence.

The application-form procedure includes an 'assistant' that provides this advice about what to put in the Serial Number/VIN Number field

A coachbuilt motorhome can be expected to have two 'data plates' - one for the base vehicle and the other for the conversion - but motorhomes built on an AL-KO chassis will usually have an extra plate relating to that chassis. However, however many data-plates there are, the VIN Number should be the same on all of them and the VIN Number on the V5C registration document should match.

This is a Ford Transit "Camper' data-plate

and the 17-character VIN Number is
