John Keats
Having been to several camp sites in the North and Scotland recently it was very noticeable that a large number of the site's occupants used the local shops and pubs, even though they were a fair walk ! Often contrary to what some authorities believe. JK (Sussex)
GJH
One of the attractions for us is the different shops in towns we visit. We try to make a point of sampling local recipes. Had some brilliant sausages and wild boar pie in Tewkesbury in May :-) Graham
w1ntersun
We eat out a lot and I know the money goes into the local economy. Part of the joy of motorhoming its to visit places and meet people .

david lloyd
In addition to visiting local food shops most of our Christmas gifts are bought spread (over the year) in the many and varied shops we encounter on our travels. David
