1998 Fiat Ducato mobility-bus conversion - air suspension problem

What I wanted to ask was their anyone, who knows what to CHECK on air suspension when it's not rising up, I have a Fiat Ducato 1998 2.8 Diesel converted from a single deck mobility bus to motorhome, what normal happens you start the bus and take handbrake off and hit the gas pedal and the bus will turn on the 2 compressors if the bus is down or low than set hight, as you drive the compressors will some time come on to maintain the pressure, I have check all fuses and relays and cleaned them, still have original bus seat and panel at the side of drivers seat, to open and close double doors, on that panel there is 2 switches one to rise the bus and one to lower the bus, pressing the lowering switch you can hear the air release, pressing the up switch nothing happens, so would like some advice on what mite be wrong, there is a Solenoid valve Burkert type 05062 dose anyone know whether that has anything to do with it, is there any think near the gas pedal that turns on the pump?

Given the age of your motorhome and that it was converted from a mobility bus, even if you provided in some detail the make and specification of the vehicle's air suspension system, I'm doubtful that it would be practicable to remotely diagnose the reason(s) for the present problem.

You've said that pressing the panel's lowering switch releases pressure in the system (which seems to imply that it's possible to raise the motorhome's height) but nothing happens when the raising switch is pressed (which contradicts that suggestion). Presumably the switches used to work OK, so have you confirmed that the compressors themselves are not to blame? Even if 'automatic' raising of the ride-height has become problematical, one might perhaps expect the manual down/up switch system to still function.

Additionally, if the original converter is still operating they may be able to advise - should be a converters plate somewhere on the vehicle.
