This YouTube video describes the operation of an Adria 640SGX campervan's rear electric bed.

I notice that there are two operating switches, so it might be worth checking that both have power.

The electric motor of this type of bed is under a lot of load and failure is not that rare. This 2020 MotorHomeFun thread

https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/forum/threads/replacement-mattress.213295/

discussed sourcing a 'lightweight' replacement mattress for an Adria Twin SGX, and it's mentioned that the bed's electric motor "...has failed, which is either because the bed‘s too heavy or the randomness of the universe. We suspect the former."

Some electric beds do have a reset button (and a capability to be operated manually if the need arises) but in either case this SHOULD be covered in the Owner Handbook.

Many thanks Derek, for the reply , I have checked both switches & they have power , sounds like motor failure, I’ve checked everything I can see , even movement of the bed frame, straps & everything is free.

will post how I get on at the dealers, cheers

Good luck at the dealers.

I notice that there are a number of Facebook groups relating to Adria leisure vehicles.

This group is specific to Adria problems/solutions

and - as the electric bed arrangement of your 640SGX has been used in Adria campervans for at least 5 years - if there are known issues (eg. sudden motor failure) you might find them mentioned within that group.
