Peter Keen
What would motorhome/ campervan owners consider a fair cost for parking/ storage between October to March? Fully locked large wooden gates in grounds of bungalow. Plug access for EHU.Vehicle Size up to 7 metres.
stevec176
I think that's like asking how long is a piece of string. It will all depend on where and how secure the site is. From what you say it sounds like you're going to park up on somebody's drive so that won't compare with a CaSSOA site. Don't forget to inform your insurance company. Peter Keen
It’s our dedicated area where we had a Chausson 630 parked at the bungalow. Just considering the option as the space sits there doing nothing. Yes there’s more too it - short/ long term, visual inspection visits, periodic starting the engine etc. Based in Suffolk. Derek Uzzell
A GOOGLE-search on cost of motorhome secure parking could be worthwhile... This 2022 link https://www.camplify.co.uk/blog/how-much-does-it-cost-to-store-a-motorhome advises Expect to pay around £250 for winter motorhome storage and £400-500 for storage all year round – this works out between £1-1.50 per day as a rough guide. Storage in London and the South East will usually be higher, as will indoor storage. Most companies charge by the year, although seasonal and six-month storage is available with many.
