flicka Posted August 12, 2007 Share Posted August 12, 2007 Can anyone throw some light on a problem that I found today. Our Bessacarr 419E leisure battery was flat. and no charge showing on the Indicator panel. Van has stood for 3 weeks and Van Battery is OK at half way into the Green sector. No interior lights or Pump operating on the Leisure Battery. I hooked up to 230v to charge the Leisure battery & the panel immediately went into the Green sector. Interior lights & Pump all operating on the Leisure Battery. Left the hook-up on for around 6 hours, then checked the panel - No indication of any charge and again no interior lights or Pump operating on the Leisure Battery. I am obviously getting a charge through the on-board charging system, but it does not appear to be going to the battery. Any ideas as to what the problem could be, would be appreciated. flicka Posted August 13, 2007 Author Share Posted August 13, 2007 Hi Hamish Thanks for your suggestion. I had checked all the fuses in the wardrobe, but was not aware of the one near the Battery. But having now checked that also, it is OK, also checked by trying a new fuse. Any other suggestions anyone as we are due to go away on Saturday for next week.
