When you answer a post and you press the quote button,how do you get the quote to be outside the dotted box instead of inside ,like what I do.

Just cut & paste what I want and then delete the rest between the quotes.

 

Is that what you mean ? Or have I lost the plot ?? *-)

Well you can do it Tony thats for sure,but could you explain again.Not the worlds greatest computer wiz me, thats for sure,dim would be a better phrase,dont quite grasp what your saying.

thought the point was to get the quote in the dotted lines

 

and make sure you type your reply AFTER the final

box otherwise that also appears within the white area with dotted lines
