Derek Uzzell
I've never made any secret that I'm unenthusiastic about having alloy wheels on motorhomes. However, just to prove that I can be open-minded, unbiased and respectful of other people's opinions, those of you who have more money than sense and want to squander some of it on alloys to make your motorhome look tarty may find the following link useful. http://www.tyresave.co.uk/alloyvan.html
fred grant
me and alices motorhome looks quite tarty enough without alloy wheels thankyou derk. when us steel wheels as worn/rusted out our motorhome will probably as passed down at least three generations by then. fred
davenewellhome
"those of you who have more money than sense and want to squander some of it on alloys to make your motorhome look tarty" Some emotive language from you there Derek, not what I'm used to seeing in your posts I have to say. Mel B
Me thinks Derek has a real itching for some tarty wheels for his own 'van, he just doesn't want to admit it! (lol) Dave ... does he wear gold medalions by any chance and have a load of gold jewellery adorning his body? If not in public, then he could be a closet Mr T (A Team). ;-)

Derek Uzzell
I've no need of alloy wheels to embellish my own motorhome as it's fitted with the latest designer chrome wheel-trims with rows of LEDs embedded in their outer surface. The static electricity produced when the wheels rotate cause the LEDs to light up and you can select various pretty patterns or even 'program' them to form words. I've currently got the front-wheel LED display reading "DEREK" and the rear one showing "UZZELL" - neat, eh! For more details of this classy product see http://www.posersrus.com/ledtrims.html Mel B: How did you find out about the medallions and body-jewellery?
