davenewellhome
Hi Dean, you can get portable power packs with a built in inverter to give a 240 VOLT supply but it will only be about 150 Watts max, with a (typical) 17AH battery this will just about give you an hours use, if you're lucky. What did you want to power from it? D.

Mel B
If you've got your battery well charged before you leave you shouldn't have a problem at all - no additional power from a generator or anything else should be needed. We often watch an hour or two on an evening using our 12v video and a LCD TV and have never had a problem, and we don't go on sites or anything, we just rely on the alternator charging the battery up during our travels. If you were going to do this every night and not travel very far then you might need something else but if it's only on an odd occasion I wouldn't worry. michele
We do the same Dean as Mel also have been known to let the engine run whilst watching something if we are on our own.
