whatsupdoc
I'm a little confused (easily achieved!) by this dip switch setting, because the colour of the dip switch is white but does the black indicate the switch position? So, in the attached photo, is the switch up (on) or off (down)?
BruceM
The text and arrow at the side indicates that the switch (black rectangle) must be up to be on so I'd say the the diagram indicates that the switch is currently off. What's the diagram from? Not the clearest of diagrams so I can understand the uncertainty. Edited June 5 by BruceM
whatsupdoc
Thanks - now you've mentioned the arrow - the black rectangle below it does show that that's the switch. So it's definitely off.
Derek Uzzell
This image of a 8-setting dip-switch is more informative Switches 5 and 7 are ON and switches 1,2,3,4,6 and 8 are OFF.
