Grumpyman
Hi I'm having a problem with my toilet the pump goes brrp every so often and when checking the toilet bowl it has a certain amount of water initially. Any suggestions please. Grumpyman

Robinhood
Sticking flush solenoids are not an uncommon problem (often resulting from scale build up) The symptoms may vary somewhat depending on the nature of the pump system fitted, pressure or micro switch. From your description I'd guess pressure switched given the random "burp". I've never removed one; rumour has it it might be fixable by soaking in a descaling solution (protecting any electrics) but If it's the problem I'd be inclined to replace. (Though you're looking at £50 or so)

Derek Uzzell
Firstly https://forums.outandaboutlive.co.uk/topic/66959-identify-your-vehicle-please/#comment-719794 From looking through your earlier postings, I believe you own a 2022 Auto-Trail F-Line F68 motorhome and this is an image of that model's bathroom. The Thetford toilet looks (to me) like a C223-S (or C263-S) model - in which case it will have no integrated water reservoir and its flush--water will come from the motorhome's main fresh-water tank and be pumped to the toilet by the motorhome's water-pump. As Robinhood has said, the occasional "brrp" noise and water arriving in the toilet-bowl suggests that the motorhome's water-pump is the pressure-sensitive type and, if that's so, its operation will almost certainly not involve micro-switches at the motorhome's water outlets. There's a C223-S diagram and parts-list here https://www.leisurespares.co.uk/files/ww/c223s_0718.pdf and (assuming that the problem lies with the toilet's electric valve) Thetford provides 'repair' videos showing how it is replaced. This is the C223 video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMwCDlrET8Q and this is the C260 video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tC6yZTK1HCI
