Martin whelan
Hi we have a pilote galaxy 25s and the roof vent over the toilet is missing. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement? thanks
Derek Uzzell
Welcome to the Out&AboutLive forums., Martin. This video refers to a 1997 Pilote Galaxy 25S The part of the video relating to the shower/room/toilet seems to indicate that there was no openable 'roof window', but there is a round thing in the ceiling (arrowed in image below) that might well be for ventilation. Assuming that this is what you are referring to, I don't know what make of vent Pilote would have fitted originally and it may well be that an exact replacement is no longer marketed. Having said that, 'mushroom' ventilators are available and can be simple unpowered versions (example advert here) https://magnummotorhomes.co.uk/shop/self-build-repair-materials/rooflights-ventilation/standard-mushroom-vent/ or have an integrated 12V- or solar-powered fan. You could also try asking about this via the Pilote Owners Association (£18 to join) https://www.piloteowners.co.uk/home.html
Labby
You could also try a boat chandlery as these type of mushroom vents are often used on boats and barges .
