alistair
We would like to replace the circular plastic basin in our Duetto sink with a square one, but we're limited to about 10cm depth. Can anyone suggest where we might get one that's suitable - all we've seen so far are too deep. Also, any suggestions where we might get a 12 volt mini vacuum cleaner that actually works? Many thanks Alistair
Thai Bry
AlistairWe bought a very good 12v Hoover- charged from mains- when in Germany a couple of trips ago. It's still very effective. Not too sure where you would source one from given your e-mail local!!Maybe some sort of trade show in NZ would be your best bet.Sorry I can't be of more help than this.Thai
handyman
i ended up getting the smallest 240v vacumm i could find instead (it was £15 out of woolworths), as the 12v/battery types were just not up to it.
trooper
We now have a rechargable that realy works, but at a price, its a dyson, only prob is charging, as you cant charge the batt away from the cleaner but it works like the real thing. crinklystarfish
My vacuum cleaner is the business, it's called a dustpan and brush. It works a treat, is easy to store, and there are no battery issues. For basin do you mean bowl? Assuming you've tried the high street, you could try CAK Tanks at Kenilworth. They are experts in all things sink / tank / container related.http://www.caktanks.co.uk/

crinklystarfish
Hi Don,I have no problem with hi-tech, but only if it's better than low-tech. To be on my 'van, tackle has to earn its corn. this is because I'm a) not stupid, and b) tight.Hope this clears things up.
