Rear Indicator light fitting on our Hymer Starline 700G

Recommended Posts

Looking for any help or advise re our current problem.

Some one has kindly reversed into the back of our van, and has broken the off side rear indicator light.

I have received a complete new light fitting - as this is the only way of getting a new lens cover.

Does anyone know how to fit the lens cove without having to remove the rear bumper section.

Many thanks Onecal( Brendan), i'd already looked at my manual that came with the van when new.

All it says is to remove the 2 x screws, and remove the housing / chrome surround. It looks like the chrome surround may be have been set by some kind or sealant on manufacture. I didn't want to risk damaging the rear bumper, in trying to peel it away.

I thought it strange that if the bulb had blown, how I was going to change the bulb, without some major surgery.

I'll take another look at it over the weekend.

Thanks once again for your advice.

Hi

I think they are just held by a clip on that model (as per owners manual) Yes they may have of course have been sealant put on them

They should still twist a little (carefully) and allow them clip off
