simsy56
Me and my wife are going to America shortly, staying with friends in New England, then California. We intend to buy an RV, use it for a while over there, and ship it back to the UK. Now, can anyone give me info on maximum dimentions we can use back here, and anything else relative to our dream. Thanks. Craig.
Mel B
Hi Suggest you put this on the main motorhome forum as you'll get more responses and probably much quicker, failing that you could try PM'ing Johnsandywhite as he's got one and has done just what you are proposing. Mel B
Hi again, I PM'd John for you, he says that the maximum width is 2.55 metres and the maximum length is less than 12 metres. It is on the person registering the RV to sign the declaration of the measurements. Hope that helps!
W3526602
Hi, A couple of years ago, a couple sued the UK company who sold them a US motorhome that was too big to be used on UK roads. They lost! Be careful!
