Ivys
Is the route from the M25 to Heathrow in the LEZ? If so, it's going to complicate a lot of arrangements. Rog
Charlieme
What's LEZ? Heathrow is next to the M25
Ivys
Low emissions zone. http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/roadusers/lez/areaofoperation/ According to the map it looks like it is.
Rayjsj
How much is Ken going to charge some of the old Aeroflot Airliners ?? I'm sure that their engines are not Euro IV compatable. Come to think of it , NONE of the aircraft engines are, but then, they know that. It's not really about clean air, otherwise Terminal 5 would never even be considered. Yes, I'm afraid it IS inside the zone (how crazy is that ??) No diesel motohomes, But Hundreds and Hundreds of Stinking Jet planes. Some even dumping fuel before landing, >:-(
Way2Go
Apparently anything inside the M25 counts. Both the CC sites will now be effected but the C & CC sites are outside and they will apparently give you a route to those sites without going over the border. It appears that Ken wants to have Fortress London. From what I've seen of it, he can have it (sorry Eddie).
Rayjsj
Charlie, LEZ stands for Low Emission Zone. Ahh ! just smell that sweet clean air around Heathrow !! ( I would wear a mask if I were you, less your body thrives on Kerosene !!) :D
J9withdogs
If you do a location check using the postcode UB3 5AP it confirms that Heathrow is indeed within the zone from 04/02/2008
colin
Strange that M4 up to junction 3 is outside, but it apears any turning off will be inside, something seems wrong there.
Ivys
If Heathrow is indeed within the LEZ it's going to affect many thousands of people. It means that instead of an easy 45 minute trip we will take about two hours, or we simply pay the £100 each way. Rog

Mel E
There is a major factual error above - anything inside the M25 is NOT in the London LEZ. In fact significant chunks of land inside the M25 are not included as they are not part of the London Boroughs and are not subject to 'the rule of Ken'. You need to see the map to be sure. However, Heathrow is in the London Borough of Hounslow, so is part of the LEZ. Mel E ====
