teccer
all I can say is I think it looks like a part of a fridge gas burner? but can't see where the flame comes out
Keithl
I would say it is the thermostatic gas control valve for a fridge. The coiled 'wire' is the temperature probe to be installed inside the fridge, the silver threaded connection below the red arrow is the connection for the flame failure thermocouple and the ports with plastic caps in them are the gas in and out connections. So my guess would be the white component arrowed, with two 'Lucar' connections, is a 12 Volt solenoid to only allow operation when a 12 Volt supply is present. Derek Uzzell
The photo is of a Dometic fridge gas thermostat valve assembly (Part Number 241219020) A GOOGLE-search on 241219020 will identify a range of suppliers (and a range of asking prices) Example advert here https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/23033835887( (I've no idea if the specific part of the assembly that is arrowed in the photo is available separately.) ......................................................................................................................................... GOOGLE has an 'image search' capability that can be a Godsend when trying to identify parts from photos and I use it regularly. Details are here https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/1325808?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop
