Why didn't you make something to connect the fan to the cassette rather than sucking at the whole compartment? I would have expected this to be less efficient? Clive Posted September 19, 2007 Share Posted September 19, 2007 Hi Ralph, The fan was one I had a couple of. 12 volt brushless DC fans from Papst. Many computer fans are the same. For me it was "junk box" components. When the casette compartment door is closed it seals quite well. I tried venting just the casette but the pipework was a right bodge, especially as it needed to move when the door was opened and in the end was totally unesessary.
