wallis
We have a 1992 Autosleeper Clubman and although we have a Vanbitz alarm fitted, feel that the lock on the "caravan" door is a weak spot. Does anyone know a company (preferably in the South East) who specialise in fitting a more substantial lock ? Thanks for any help offered.
Ranger
Hi wallis, there is a D shaped handrail designed to assist the older and more fragile of us to board and disembark. This handrail folds and locks across the door making as about as secure as could be expected. I think you will find them in most caravan shops. Welcome to the Forum, you don't have to be a nut case to join us, but it does help.

shedbrewer
hi, we also have a Clubman and have concerns about the safety angle on the rear door. However these 'D handles' seem to be ok when away from the Camper, tho I'm not sure they could be fitted to an A-S owing to the depth of the body, about 100mms, also they are no use when the door is closed from the inside, surely ?
