Vernon B Posted September 18, 2007 Share Posted September 18, 2007 I received a notice from SF Detection this morning telling me my gas alarm may deteriorate over time and become ineffective. I purchased the unit as a "Burden LP Gas Alarm" but its techical name is "A Z10EDCOP - model Z10e". SF Detection have made arrangements for the units to be returned to them and they will supply a replacement free of charge. The recall arrangements appear to have been organised very well but they obviously rely upon their customer database been complete and up todate. If you have bought an alarm between March 2005 and September 2006 it would be wise to check if its one of these units.
