ChasB
I have a Truma Combi E heater in my motorhome. A simple question. Can I leave it switched on all night to heat the living space? What do you do?
Derek Uzzell
Do you mean by using the heater's 240V mains electricity capability alone? If so, this should be OK, but, it will only provide 'background' warm-air heating that may be insufficient to keep the living area cozy in really cold weather. mtravel
If we are talking about Combi 6, as far as I remember, the electric operation (on EHU) has two power levels. - 900W. Tried, just little more than lukewarm air. -1,800W, I personally have never tried it but I think the limit is the site's circuit breaker. In 90% of cases at the limit of the supply, let's not forget the refrigerator (about 130/150W) and the rest. Not many EU sites provide 10 Amps, in some countries having more than three is almost a rarity.
Derek Uzzell
The Combi 6E and 4E have the same 900W/1800W 240V electric heating: the difference is in the maximum output available when in 'mixed' mode.
