I'm a newbie to this site, but I am on others, mainly BMW bike orientated.

Bit about myself.

58 retired HGV driver.

Married 32 years [she deserves a gold clock]

Motorhome= '97 Magnum Mobile explorer 7.7 meters on LT35 chassis.

Off to sunny climes for 6 weeks as from next Tuesday.

Aiming to do Norfolkline to Dunkirk , Belgium, Holland, back to Belgium east of France down to Spain and back up west coast of Spain and France, Roscoff back to good old Blighty and the cold :(

Hoping to use Aires 99% of the time

I'll be towing bike trailer with R80g/s on it,

Bike is secured to trailer with anchor chain and trailer to motorhome likewise.

Any tips and hints will be most welcome.

Cheers and Greetings to All :-D

Make sure your bike is well secured to the trailer, with tie-downs across the 'bars and pull it as far forward on the trailer bed as can be done.

It will improve the bikes safety. No need to place on centre stand, allow the bike's suspension to soak up the bumps, otherwise the stand will dig itself a hole on the trailer floor. If space allows, and security can be achieved, you can carry addtionals on the trailer, like water containers, waste containers, etc. But make sure they are away from sticky fingers. That's why I use an enclosed trailer for my bike. Takes biking clobber as well as accessories. Enjoy the journey and the rides.
