yesmad
Now that you can run a diesel engine with LPG (I beleive it uses a mix of both) has anyone on the forum had it fitted? I know that Perkins and Volvo have been doing trials on their engines running on LPG and the only problem that Perkins have had is with the electrics. Does anyone on the Forum know of any company that carry out the conversions? Many thanks Steve

Bill
This system was invented in Australia, anad I believe they have an agent in London. Afraid I chucked out the magazine in which I read about it so can't help further, but suggest you aim your search at Oz. I also remember that the conversion gives a power increase of about 25%, which is very welcome - but check with your insurers.
yesmad
Thank you Bill and Michelle for your replies. I was in contact with a company in Wales who were looking into do conversions using Itailian equipment, I will do a bit more digging and if I get any usefull information I will post here. having been down the manufacture and selling of Biodiesl, I beleive like Volvo, that the LPG route is the only viable route to go down.
