Alan Rogers guide books have a website where you can search sites

 

plus if you Google french campsites you will find other sites with information

 

Michelin camping France is also a reliable book

 

CC club European books are also recommended

We have stayed at a very good site at Port Grimaud near St Tropez, Prairies De Le Mer (www.campazur.com), but I think it is only open April till October.

another good site at port grimaud camping holiday marina you have your own bathroom on your pitch here (lol) ;-)

If you're into "wildish" camping, you can stay overnight at the Port of St Tropez carpark, right at the water's edge and next to the million euro yachts.  All for a fiver or so.  No facilities, though.
