catinou Posted October 19, 2007 Share Posted October 19, 2007 Does anybody know about the latest recall for the new Fiat Ducato? We booked ours into the dealership for the snag list / warranty work to be done. Expected to pick it up tomorrow morning and go to the NEC - pitch booked in August.... We had a telephone call this morning to say that it won't be ready (no surprise there then :'( ) We were told that part of the delay was because they had spent a day stripping and rebuilding the gear box after a Fiat recall on the 3 litre versions! That was a surprise (!) Apparently a part has not been machined properly and it could cause problems later - at least it is fixed I supose. When asked why we hadn't been told about it we were told "it has only just come in". Guess who is visiting the Fiat stand this weekend?
