Way2Go
Hi,Like a lot of other people we've been up to the NEC for a couple of days and stayed on the temporary CC camp site. Whilst there I snapped these two images. Whilst the Tranquillity of Dreams is some fine artwork I think I'd have to look for a layby if I was following Bart Simpson for too long 8-)
Way2Go
As I've now got your attention on the subject of fine artwork. I took these a few years ago at the International Air Tattoo at Fairford . . . . now THAT'S what you call artwork.I appreciate this is off topic but there you go:-
Ralph
Great stuff. Thanks for posting. Whilst I'd never have my own van done I have to admit that the Tranquility one is exceptionally good.
tamworthkamper
They look very good but I wonder what value is lost in a trade in?
Way2Go
True enough. I guess it may be OK if you intend keeping it for a good number of years but I cannot help think that anything 'non-standard' may effect the trade-in price.Besides, would you buy a second hand MH with Bart Simpson on the back? No offence meant if the owner reads this :-)
handyman
i've seen that bart one on the road. I would presume bart is made of that sticky signmakers stuff, and not painted on? If its the sticky stuff, then you would just peel it off proir to sale
Way2Go
Yes I agree, it does look like a transfer doesn't it?I guess it all depends how strong the adhesive is and whether it leaves an outline.
handyman
if its a sticker, speaking from a 'normal painted van' point of view, you just peel it off and then t-cut/wax the whole panel, and you cant see where it was. It will be different with campervan panels, but i'm sure there would be some sort of magic cleaner that would make the whole panel the same
