Charles Chodkowski
Just back from a seven week trip to Croatia. What a superb country to visit! Cities just the right size for a day trip, camp sites right on the beach and of good quality, very good quiet roads, friendly people, reasonble prices and good warm weather. And it is an enjoyable four day drive to get there (apart for the motorway near Venice. Wel worth a visit in September/October when it's nice and quiet. We will certainly go again. malc d
We went there a couple of years ago and I would recommend the Plitvice lakes. But stick to main roads, some others , which look like 'B' roads on the maps are not much more than tracks. Coast road very scenic but progress is rather slow. We too would go again.
