Flashing Adverts

I am always wary of purported website 'improvements' and 'updating' - and now I know why!

Do I have any support in a request to the mods to remove those bl##dy awful flashing images from the forum?

These monstrosities are the scourge of the internet and are a real turn off to many off us who used to enjoy the non flashing forum as a form of blessed relief from many other websites.

What on earth do they expect to achieve by having adverts flashing?

Surely everyone will see these adverts by virtue of their location and if interested will click on them whether they flash or not?

Speaking personally I will make a point of NEVER clicking on an offensive flashing advert and maybe if enough of us feel the same we can get the flashing switched off just leaving the adverts

So what about it Mr Mods? Can sanity return please?

We live in hope?

Does that make me a radical?

Haven't been one of those since I burnt my bra in the 60's :D

That must have even more risky than moderating the moderators?

Does that mean you are fully self supporting then J9?

Thanks for the anti flasher tip - works lovely.

Does anyone know how to do the same on Mozilla Firefox please because, being a computer thicko, I can't see how to do it?
